Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a senior member of the software engineering division, you will use knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, testing, debugging and designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture. Work involves problem solving, understanding and applying company policies and processes. Gaining competence in own area and acquiring a higher level understanding of role, processes and procedures. B.Tech/BE degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4-8 years of previous software engineering or related experience. Team: This team is responsible for developing 4G SCEF and 5G NRF/NSSF/NEF/APIGW/NEF products for Oracle Communications Global Business Unit. Responsibilities: Design, development, testing and automation of Telecom application software using primarily Java technology. Qualifications: Strong background for software development, test processes and product release procedures. Industrial knowledge about related domains. Experience or knowledge of architecture and framework design for commercial products or systems. (5-10 yrs) years of hands-on development in one of the following technical areas is required: Experience with Java, springboot technologies. Experience with Telecom/Networking protocols or networking software development. Experience with real time and high-performance application development. Experience of developing concurrent and high throughput software. Experience of developing highly available/redundant software. Experience with Java and System performance tuning and profiling tools. Experience of Linux or UNIX environment development. Experience in script programming, such as Bash, Perl, Python. Experience, knowledge or skills in following technical areas is preferred: Experience with in-memory or NOSQL databases. Strong programming skills in object oriented programming languages.
