As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

Software Developer in Test (QA Team) Position Overview As a Software Developer in Test, you play a critical role in designing and implementing a suite of automated testing that focuses on our Oracle Cloud offerings. As a remote Software Developer in Test, you not only follow best practices, standards, and processes employed by the team but feel comfortable contributing to them as well. You have strong communication skills with a penchant for radiating information. You work in concert with your development team to build services that are designed with exceptional quality as a critical feature. You promote and help develop automated tests and tools that ensure we always understand and measure the quality of our services.

Responsibilities

• Design, write and deploy automated test suites in a containerized distributed microservices solutions • Define, build, and measure key quality indicators and metrics through the full SDLC • Measure quality from the perspective of the users of our OCI Sevice • Articulate technical characteristics of services and technology areas and guide the service development teams to engineer quality into the product • Responsible for working with the team to develop and maintain microservice solutions • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications • Collaborate with the engineering and product teams • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation • Ensure testing plan and strategy are followed within the team
