Our Exciting Opportunity:

Ericsson Australia is growing! As a result, we are now looking for a Senior Cloud Integration Engineer to work within 5G Core related programs (primarily in DevOps) by supporting in the design and development of commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for customers across the 5GC sub-domains. Your scope of work would include scenarios of new design introduction, upgrade, expansion, troubleshooting, functionality verification and capacity dimensioning. You will be required to be customer facing and potentially working within the customers DevOps team and liaising with various internal and external stakeholders. Moreover, to be successful for the role, you will need to possess strong technical leadership skills and experiences to navigate the complexities of 5G Core deliveries, dealing with technical issues and promoting standard methodologies.

In this role, you would:

• Work within a 5G program in a DevOps and Agile ways of working

• Define the technical solutions for Core & Cloud projects in the 5GC Domain

• Act as a SPOC and primarily drive the delivery of K8/CCD related activities within the DevOps team and across various 5G programs

• Support in pre-sales activities via technical reviews and customer demonstrations

• Establish thought leadership through delivering customer presentations and webinars

• Collaborate with your peers to drive standard methodologies and promote technical excellence across DevOps and 5G programs

• Support operational activities by working closely with the team responsible for deployment, upgrade, integration and testing

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

• Education: University degree or equivalent

• Strong experience in 5GC technologies

• Experience with Kubernetes/Containerization concepts

• Extensive experience with K8/CCD architecture, including experiences in installation and integration to 3pp north bound systems

• Knowledge of the full NFVi stack and basic administration skills of that stack

• Worked in or have knowledge/experience in the DevOps and agile ways of working

• Experience with Ansible and Python, Linux kernel and command line interfaces

• Attention to detail when writing documentation for methods of procedures, tasks and integration

• Extensive experience as a Core & Cloud Solution Architect. Proven experience in domains such as Packet Core (EPC), vIMS (VoLTE, VoWiFi) UDM/UDC, DSC, PCRF/SAPC, NFVi/virtualization

• Exposure to core architecture at a high level

• Exposure to working with Jira, confluence and other agile & project support tools

• E2E technical understanding

• Decision making, has a "can do" attitude and ability to work independently and self-drive

• Leading, presenting and communicating with internal and external business partners

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills including coaching & mentoring Skills

• Business and Commercial acumen and motivation to continuously self-develop core competences
