We are looking for an IT Engineer to elevate our Life Cycle Management team and help us give Cegal's customers the best user experience possible. Our focus is delivering reliable, efficient, and high-quality solutions and services, customized to each customer’s individual needs and demands.

If you are someone that will engage in managing and maintaining enterprise level solutions and infrastructure we would love to hear from you. The position will be responsible for operating and maintaining existing environments through Lifecycle Management. Our automation first strategy challenges you to always consider if a work process can be automated, and we need you to be familiar with how to actually automate processes.

Work tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage the lifecycle for all service requests, incident, change and problem tickets through our Service Management System.

• Analyze complex technical issues, diagnose problems, and provide support to other analysts with issues.

• Liaise with external vendors & service providers to resolve incidents and complete service requests.

• Maintain knowledge of client environments, operating systems, standard applications, and computer hardware solutions.

• Lead the creation and management of documentation relating to all client sites, infrastructure and IT systems.

• Provide on-going maintenance, system/security checks, and automate services where possible.

• Ensure the root cause of any problems are found and best practice resolutions are implemented.

• Assist onboarding new clients/products/solutions and acceptance into operational service.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years’ experience in IT service operational environment required

• Minimum 2 years’ experience providing support to enterprise level solutions and infrastructure

• In-depth knowledge of core Microsoft technologies, and Cloud services

• Operational experience in Virtualisation Technologies; VMWare, Microsoft and/or Citrix

• Detailed knowledge of server infrastructure technologies, monitoring, and hypervisor management

Personal qualifications:

• Ability to deliver a high level of quality and customer experience

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Curious and fast learner, particularly with regards to new technologies

• Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

Formal requirements:

• Master the English language, both written and verbally

• Good oral and written presentation skills

• Right to work in the UK
