The Role:

This is a role for a professional and diligent expert on network security and infrastructure.

Job Specification:

• Monitor our network performance
• Find and resolve network/architecture vulnerabilities
• Troubleshoot our network and architecture
• Oversee backup systems and replication
• Respond to special customer requests on infrastructure matters
• Manage and implement solutions to live incidents
• Oversee and manage our network as follows: 1.Firewall management, configuration, rules, monitoring 2.Load Balancer advice, config, reporting 3.Azure Network advice, config, reporting, implementation 4.VPN advice, config, reporting, implementation 5.SFTP/Other File Transfer Protocols: advice, config, reporting, implementation 5.Cryptography advice, config, reporting, implementation
• Oversee and manage server maintenance: 1.Server builds 2.Network builds 3.Server configuration&hardening 4.Network hardening 5.Advice 6.Skills managing cloud-based virtual server instances would be an advantage
• Manage our DDOS defences (jointly with our Senior Tech Support Engineer)
• Imperva, Akamai, and/or Cloudflare experience would be an advantage

Your Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience with Active Directory or similar product
• Experience of Windows-based operation systems
• Understanding of database systems (especially MS SQL)
• Excel Power User
• Knowledge of SSO technologies
• Comfort and aptitude with cloud-based web tools
• Experience with Splunk, Sailpoint, SIEM, and similar enterprise tools would be an advantage

• Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
