The Matching team aims to enable Indeed Flex to balance Client and Workers' needs. We are building tools for decision-making and automated solutions to support the company goals. The team is responsible for designing and implementing intelligent, automated solutions, leveraging a wide range of algorithms to improve the quality of our matching and ranking logic: classifications, predictions, causal inferences, clustering, but also descriptive statistics, and simple heuristics with great visualizations!
We are looking for our next engineering leader to join a rapidly growing team of backend engineers and data scientists. This is an opportunity to help create and define an engineering culture as we build out our team both locally and remotely. You will be responsible for managing a cross-functional engineering team to ensure delivery of high quality, robust marketplace algorithms and maintaining communication between the team and the wider company.
