FFW is looking for a Javascripts Developer to join our FFW Polaris program in Gabrovo and Veliko Tarnovo.

As a Node.js Developer, you will be working with some of the most passionate and experienced developers in digital solutions. With +15 years of experience in the field, FFW has become a digital agency with technology itself as the building blocks for the best user experience creations.

Responsibilities

What awaits you:

• Be part of a development team that delivers projects for different businesses and markets (Fortune 500 companies, NGOs, different institutions).

• Build custom components and libraries

• Use and extend already developed Node.js applications

• Provide technical solutions and bring your ideas to the table

• Be an active part within the entire development process by participating in the planning and estimate of the development activities

• Working with:Git version control system following the Git Flow workflow

• Technologies and techniques to optimize the application performance

• Communicating with development team members in a professional and well-mannered way

Qualifications

What you bring:

• 2+ years of experience in backend/server-side development with Node.js

• Good knowledge of Javascript/TypeScript

• Knowledge of REST design principles

• Understanding of HTTP protocol

• Write efficient, scalable, testable and maintainable code

• Strong self-motivation, “can-do” and problem-solving attitude

• Good understanding of asynchronous programming and its workarounds

• Experience with Git and Git flow

• Basic knowledge of databases and queries

• Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking)

What can be an advantage:

• Experience in React, Angular or Vue.js

• Experience with web sockets

• Knowledge using Redux or GraphQL or Context API

• Understanding of server-side logic and front-end performance optimization

• Good knowledge of micro-services architecture

• Experience in AWS or other cloud platforms will be considered a plus

• Experience with a state management library like redux, mobx, react-query, etc.
