Job Description:

About this role

In this role, you will work on analytics, reporting, metrics and data analysis workstreams to deliver new business insights that drive actionable change. You will apply deep thinking, exploratory analysis and data visualisation techniques to uncover new business opportunities.

What you’ll do:

  • Contribute to the delivery of reporting & analytics workstreams
  • Use data analysis & BI techniques to answer business questions
  • Apply critical thinking to requirements and seek out pragmatic solutions to data challenges
  • You will ask great questions and tell stories with data, building reports and dashboards that deliver insight to help improve the delivery of care
  • You will look beyond the data to understand the story and human interactions behind the data
  • You build data products that are loved by users, taking data from raw format to business value
  • You will use SQL, Lookml & DBT or Dataform to model data
  • You will use looker, data studio or google sheets to deliver self-service reports & dashboards

Who you will work with:

  • Product owners to understand the business value and define data analytics/data analysis user stories.
  • Insight consumers to understand their needs and deliver reports that empower them with actionable insights.
  • Subject matter experts to understand business processes, systems and data lineage.
  • Data engineering to agree on data contracts, SLA’s, define data pipelines, model and transform data.
  • Data Analysts to share knowledge and support junior analysts

What you’ll need:

  • You will be an expert in at least one BI tool (any - we use looker) to answer business questions, define metrics and create reports and dashboards
  • You will have good knowledge of data modelling (SQL/DBT)
  • You will have experience in working with senior stakeholders across departments and driving conversations to solve puzzles
  • You will need your agile mindset and a pragmatic approach to solution delivery

  • 1st stage video call hiring manager (1 hour)
