About the role

As Principal Engineer at ATG, you will actively drive and participate in conversations about the technical vision to ensure that we develop an exciting and flexible platform to meet users' needs. With your passion for technical leadership and willingness to serve as a role model for others, you will be an advocate for the developer community and facilitate the development of technical strategies in your product area. You will work closely with the team but also with other departments within ATG to ensure that we drive development in an anchored and sustainable way. You will also be an important part of our Employer Branding as we at ATG participate in technical events and networks, where you get the opportunity to profile yourself, the team and ATG.

Among other things, you will work to:

• Lead and develop competence networks with the aim of improving the product in line with the IT strategy and target architecture, which means close collaboration with the architecture forum at ATG

• Inspire product innovation and actively participate in innovation activities with the team

• Stay up to date on innovative technology to ensure that we at ATG remain at the forefront

• Act as a technical mentor and encourage a learning culture

• Act as an ambassador for ATG at conferences, trade fairs, lectures and external competence networks

• Develop and deliver code together with the team to keep up to date in our code base and products.

Who are you?

• We are looking for you who are a senior developer with a passion for both leadership and technology. We believe that you work as a Principal Engineer, Tech Lead / Architect or CTO at a small company. You have experience of working with varying challenges of a technical nature where you have collaborated with various technical teams and acted as a leader.

• You thrive in an environment where there is a high ceiling where you are happy to share your knowledge and technical solutions but are also open to learning from your colleagues. You have a good communication ability and thrive in contexts where you can inspire others both internally at ATG and externally at different types of events. For you, it is a matter of course to follow the progress of technology and is not afraid to test new solutions.

• You are inspired and thrive in an environment where you get to work with people from different backgrounds and experiences and are thus used to understanding and managing different perspectives and opinions.

To succeed in the role, you have experience of:

• Similar work in a transaction-intensive environment from e.g. finance or gaming industr

• To set and work towards goals in close collaboration with Team Manager and be involved in change work

• Agile approach

• Development work in modern languages ​​and tools

• To design scalable and reusable services

• To coach and be a mentor for others
