We are after Tech Leads, Lead Developers, Senior Developers and Software engineers across Front End, Back End, Full Stack and Mobile.

Bunnings is building a leading in-house software engineering team to work across our digital platforms. As a member of our cross-functional delivery team working on contemporary technologies you will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining our frontend, middleware and backend products and services across our digital platform.

You will design, code, test and deploy the build and management of the codebase, support the implementation of the platform’s technology strategy and contribute to a maintainable, high quality and performant codebase. We are a team of passionate technologists who are all about collaboration, experimentation, knowledge share, continuous deployments, continual learning and career growth, automation everywhere and delivering high quality code.

About you

• Strong background in Software Engineering

• Working experience within an Agile environment

• Experience designing and developing across some of our tech stack which includes React, Redux, Typescript, Java, Hybris, JavaScript, C#, Sitecore, RESTful APIs, GraphQL or React Native

• Knowledge of software engineering best practices (e.g.: Agile Software Development, Continuous Deployment, Behaviour Driven Development, Code Review, Design Documentation, Infrastructure as code, etc.)

• Knowledge of Virtualization technologies (e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes, Vagrant, etc.)

• Experience with Cloud Providers (Azure, AWS or GCP)
