Overview
Element has an opportunity for a new IT Systems Engineer (LIMS) to become part of our international team that is building and implementing a new Laboratory-Information-Management-System (LIMS). As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for the development of interfaces and core application.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have strong Java or C# experience and understanding of business processes, in addtion to this we are seeking someone with:
• Strong understanding of software development in building a variety of applications
• Experience in an application support or technical systems analyst role
• Experience of supporting diverse global applications in multiple geographic regions
• Ability to present effectively, multi-task and prioritize workload
• Experience of relational databases
• Understanding of working in an Agile environment
• Strong verbal and written communication in English
• Verbal and written Italian communications skills are preferred but not essential
• Experience with LEAN methodologies are preferred
Skills / Qualifications
To be successful within this position we are looking for:
• Hands-on experience with Java or C#
• Strong understanding of software development
• Experience in an application support
• Experience of supporting diverse global applications across borders
• Experience of relational databases
• Understanding of working in an Agile environment
In addition to this we are really interested in indivuals with strong verbal and written communication in English. If you speak Italian this would be advantageous.
