As a Senior Developer in DC Labs or our Digital Service team, you’ll be working within our forward-thinking tech stack (working with technologies such as JavaScript, React and GraphQL) to create innovative experiences for our customers on the sky.com platform – solving their problems, and bringing our products and services to life. Operating with a tribe and chapter model, we have a development chapter made up of individuals with differing skill-sets, where knowledge sharing and group ideation for technical initiatives is welcomed.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
– Create high quality software using agile methodologies
– Utilise techniques such as TDD and Pair Programming
– Participate in the full software life cycle, including support and continuous integration
– Drive continuous improvement within a self-regulating team
– Have plenty of opportunity to learn new things, as well as coaching and mentoring others
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
– Expert level knowledge of Core JavaScript.
– Strong Frontend experience with HTML & CSS.
– Knowledge of other technologies such as GraphQL, React, Node.js and Redux.
– Demonstrable experience of software development for high capacity, high traffic, high availability websites/systems
– Delivery experience within agile projects
– Problem solving and creative thinking
