The Role
An exciting opportunity to work for a forward-thinking company in the heart of Somerset, as a Senior Developer. You will be working on a a couple of new and exciting projects that the company have in the pipeline, specifically focussing on bespoke solutions for a multitude of clients. You will get the opportunity to 'own' the projects that you build, driving the technology, development and deployment. It would be great if you had exposure to architecture, as you will gradually assist with mapping technical solutions within the business with the Head of Technology. You will be passionate about keeping up to date with the latest trends in technology and inspiring Software Developers around you. It will be beneficial if you have experience in running stand-ups, and vast experience in managing the full software lifecycle of projects from design, right through to development and deployment. You will become a key driving force in the company, and will be a key voice in pioneering the business forward. You will get the opportunity to be customer facing in this role. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and driven Software Developer, to hit the ground running in an innovative environment where they are utilising the latest technologies.
Skills:
• PHP • Object Orientated design • Laravel (or Symfony) • HTML, CSS, JavaScript • Bootstrap • SQL / MySQL
Desirable:
• Knowledge of DevOps / CI/CD Automated tests • Docker or Terraform experience • JavaScript Frameworks: VueJS/ReactJS/Angular
