JOB DESCRIPTION
A Senior Developer at Black Airplane is responsible for building responsive websites and applications from backend systems to implementing complex interactive frontend user interfaces for our family of amazing clients. This role requires an engineer who is highly proficient in backend technologies and bonus points if full-stack is your bread and butter, and who has experience writing maintainable code on complex projects. Our ideal candidate is a master of their craft, and continues to assess and learn new technologies and programming languages. You are someone who takes great pride in your work, and can be relied upon to help deliver incredible user experiences in a fast paced environment.
This is a full-time, remote position (must be located in Georgia).
RESPONSIBILITIES
Write high quality code with readability, efficiency and maintainability in mind Implement complex features using modern PHP code and patterns while following standards ABOUT YOU 5+ years of web development experience 2+ years of Laravel experience 5+ years of PHP experience Industry experience in working with a team of developers BONUS SKILLS Fullstack with either React, Vue, or JavaScript Redis Experienced with TDD Shopify experience Black Airplane is headquartered in beautiful Downtown Woodstock—only a short walk to great restaurants, the Greenprints Trail System, boutique local shops, Pie Bar, and our friends at Reformation Brewery.
