Senior Full Stack Developer - PHP & JavaScript
My client, a company that owns a Group of organisations centrally owned that have industry leading Fashion, eCommerce, Sports and Business organisations in its portfolio, is looking for a Lead Developer with strong PHP skills to join a Development team to help create some fantastic products.
You will take full responsibility for developing and delivering a strategic technological vision and direction for the business, leading and managing the Software Development Team from a technical perspective in an Agile manner. You would be the key player in the team, so would play an important role in building out the team in the image you think the environment requires.
This is a well backed organisation that are looking to reengineer all of its Web assets, and they are building a range of new incredible products for the industries they operate in.
Essential Skills:
• 7-10 years of software engineering experience
• Strong custom theme and plug in development experience
• Responsive web development knowledge using Bootstrap
• PHP & MySQL knowledge
• Good understanding of AWS
• ElasticSearch
• Expert WordPress knowledge / skill
• Solid front end understanding - HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• A strong portfolio of custom builds / example code that's demonstrable on GitHub
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
• Knowledge of Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development
• Passionate about self-improvement and web technologies
• A working understanding of Gulp/Grunt, SASS, and GIT
• Good understanding of Web Accessibility and security
• Strong experience with AWS
