Principal Engineer/ Software Architect

Job Description:

We are looking for a Principal Engineer/ Software Architect to oversee the next phase of the development for the suite of products they create. You will be working in an Agile/ Scrum environment, and you will be working with the team and provide a more holistic view to the product offering.

The company are a very successful FinTech Software business embarking on an exciting growth plan after significant investment within the business. They are offering exciting opportunities to take a lead role of a very successful product with the ability to adapt it to be even better and also the chance to work with leading, blue-chip organisations around Europe.

You will be:

• A key member in the design of the software products
• Working with skilled developers and managers to define direction
• Deciding what technologies should be used
• Mentoring junior developers to best practise

Skills/ qualifications:

• Strong understanding of software design principles
• Strong background in PHP development
• Ideally educated to a degree level
• Good understanding of cloud technologies
• Experience working within a ‘Product first’ company
• Experience in an Agile environment
