**Responsibilities **
Design and influence design, implementation, and architectural direction within the team and across organizational boundaries.
Solve technical problems of the highest scope, complexity, and ambiguity.
Write clean and thorough design documents and code that exemplify quality, simplicity, and maintainability.
Be a mentor and role model for design reviews, code, and test cases.
Working hands-on with your team through design and implementation, setting examples for good engineering practices and coding along the way.
Continuously improving your ability to deliver quality solutions through evolving our engineering process and technical capabilities.
Provide thoughtful feedback to peer and junior engineers, nurturing an inclusive engineering environment, championing engineering fundamentals, and providing clarity and mentorship for team members to grow.
Learn new technologies and frameworks quickly, apply them effectively, and teach them to the organization.
**Minimum Qualifications **
At least 10+ years of experience shipping and running production systems and/or software.
Expert proficiency in Java.
Strong proficiency in at least once of the following – Python, NodeJS, C#
Proficient in cloud engineering (Azure or AWS) using VM, container, and serverless services, preferably certified.
A good working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
A good working knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication ability including fluency in English.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) and deployment.
Experience with Adobe Enterprise Cloud technologies (AEM, AEP, Target, Campaign, Commerce/Magento).
Experience developing highly scalable B2B and/or B2C e-commerce solutions.
Experience working with geographically dispersed, diverse, and virtual teams.
Has approved GitHub pull requests in a popular project.
