Job Description
We are searching for highly motivated Java engineers with track record of success to join our expanding team. In this role you will be a hands-on developer responsible for building and supporting services for JPMorgan’s Execute platform. You will contribute features, enhancements and bug fixes and ensure our codebase is clean, well-structured and testable. You will work alongside your colleagues to perform technical analysis of client requirements, participate in estimation, planning and architecture design sessions. You will be responsible for smooth development process, driving high quality output and timely issue resolution.
As a member of Execute team you will be able to learn about financial markets from your colleagues, stakeholders and extensive training resources. You will influence application architecture, development process and contribute to internal libraries shared across multiple teams. This role provides you with the opportunity to see direct impact of your contributions on the trading floor and in client feedback from around the globe.
Requirements:
• Experience in building high-performance latency-sensitive Java applications • Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting software running in Linux environment • Experience in test driven development using modern source control and continuous integration • Experience working with numerous globally distributed engineers • Excellent understanding of Java 8+ fundamentals and OO programming paradigms • Clear understanding of messaging technologies and computer networks • Understanding of full software development lifecycle and agile approach • Strong Computer Science foundations • Familiarity with Spring, FIX, Solace, Python • Familiarity with Investment Banking, FinTech, or Financial Markets
