Staff Engineer - Frontend Development - Remote

My client global leader in media software, PR and marketing. My clients software and community of developers creates meaningful impact everywhere it is implemented. My client is growing rapidly with 4,800 employees with offices in 24 countries across the globe.

They are a hugely diverse group, currently looking to grow their presence across the East coast of the US. Looking for ambitious engineers ready to impart their knowledge and become a meaningful part of an exciting business.

This is a fully remote role working to EST time.

Role Responsibilities

• Leading a team of engineers to produce high quality software - including analysis, system design, implementation, testing, deployment and support.
• Mentoring and growing your team.
• Final decision maker on architectural decisions in projects.

Preferred understanding

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Programming or equivalent experience.
• Minimum ten years' experience.
• Professional experience of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and one or more modern JS frameworks (Angular, React, Node)

Additional understanding

• React, react-redux and TypeScript
• RESTful APIs - you have used and built APIs
• Python, Groovy/Grails, Kubernetes, Docker, and Jenkins or similar build automation system Java/C# on the backend
