Software Tester / Test Analyst

Job Description:

A flourishing business from the heart of Swansea are currently looking to recruit a Software Tester / Test Analysis. Having recently been acquired, the company are currently going through a significant global expansion and are experience substantial investment into the site in South Wales. Role & Responsibilities:

• As a Software Tester / Test Analyst you will be responsible for carrying out application testing on different software products.
• Working in the Test team to create, maintain and improve existing test plans, and carry out system testing on a variety of client configurations
• Working closely with the development team, you will assist in assessing performance of the products using performance/ load testing tools

Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:

• BCS / ISTQB qualifications
• Ability to write SQL statements (SQL server)
• WAPT or other automated testing tools
• Selenium
• NUnit / xUnit
• TeamCity

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• You will be degree qualified in Computing or an IT related subject
• You should have a good understanding of IIS and web applications, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and HTTP client-server communications
• Knowledge of automated test tools and performance test tools

Benefits and Package:

• A starting salary of £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
• 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
