FFW is looking for a Backend Developer to join the team in Europe. Our software developers are the foundation of what we do – and our clients’ business and success often depends on us and our team of technical experts.
As we continue to grow, we are searching for a backend developer to work with multi-site solutions for some of the biggest companies worldwide. Based in Bulgaria, you will be part of our FFW Nebula Program team and will be working with clients and coleagues from across the globe.
Responsibilities
What awaits you:
Build custom back-end components and libraries Use and extend already contributed Open Source solutions Take part in software development methodologies following the standards and best practices outlined for Agile projects Contributing to techniques that will optimise the application performance (Varnish, Memcache, Application profiling, SQL query analysing, Edge Side Includes (ESI) and others)
Qualifications
What you bring:
• Professional experience and interest in web development, Open Source, PHP and Symfony (as well as MySQL, Apache, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and / or similar technologies) • Solid understanding of git flow (including the workflow) and version control • Used to working in a team on projects for different types of businesses and markets • Knowledge of Drupal is an advantage, but not a requirement • Proficient level of written and spoken English
