Senior Frontend Engineer at Script

We are expanding our amazing team and looking for top-notch Senior Frontend Engineers to join our team, share our passion and strive for excellence. We are building the first text editor powering living & breathing digital document and capable of turning text into dynamic workflows. We're looking for highly motivated, switched-on and down to earth individuals that are willing to roll up their sleeves and do whatever it takes to be the best in their field, challenge the status quo and deliver high quality results. You should be comfortable around both backend and frontend languages and frameworks as you will have the opportunity to work through our entire stack, from the backend API to the web and desktop App.

Requirements:

• A proven track record of academic and professional excellence
• 5+ years of prior experience in web development (full stack but mainly frontend)
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript web frameworks such as node.js, electron.js, etc. (ideally proven experience working with electron)
• Some knowledge of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS
• Good knowledge of database management such as MySQL and Postgres
• Knowledge of REST API concepts
• Proficient understanding of Git
• Passion for writing clean code, making use of coding standards and design patterns

You will stand out if you have:

• Experience with ReactJS and/or React Native
• Experience working with richly formatted text (.docx, .xlsx, etc.)
• Comfortable writing unit tests
• Familiarity with Docker
• Familiarity with AWS
