Great role for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join our API platform team
The Senior DevOps Engineer in the API Platform Team is responsible for designing and implementing automated cloud operational models to serve development, testing, monitoring and maintaining production workloads within the focus area of the API Platform Team.
What you’ll be doing:
Developing effective cloud infrastructure, enforcing good architectural principles, providing technical oversight, and ensuring security best practices are implemented and followed by development teams
Building CI/CD pipelines on Azure Dev Ops
Plan, document, implement, and maintain automated processes related to Azure resources (Serverless, PaaS, SaaS, API Management, AKS)
Creating Azure Resource Manager templates and/or PowerShell scripts to build Azure resources
Managing and monitoring cloud messaging infrastructure like Azure Service Bus
Setting up logging, monitoring and alerting on Azure, New Relic and Splunk
About You
You must have solid skills on deploying and managing cloud services hosted in Microsoft Azure at scale. And be ready to handle production support issues, and effectively troubleshoot and communicate with development teams.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Proven expertise in the following technologies: Microsoft Azure, PowerShell, Continuous Integration using Azure DevOps
Cloud automation experience using ARM, PowerShell
Experience working in Agile teams working in Microservices based architecture and have a deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines
VPN, VNET, Load Balancing, Routing Protocols, Network Monitoring / Troubleshooting
Programming experience in a language such as C# or Javascript
Docker, Kubernetes experience would be desirable although not essential
