A .NET Developer (C#, .NET Core, Microservices) is being sought by an alternative finance provider, based near Wimbledon, London (Working fully remote at the moment and can offer up to 95% remote moving forward too), paying up to £60,000 + a great benefits package. The business is one of the most established and leading alternative finance providers in the UK. They offer a broad range of products to their customers. They are currently operating in a highly complex technical landscape and are looking to deliver a major digital transformation of their applications and data, building new or re-engineering existing applications and hosting all of these in the Microsoft Azure Cloud Service moving forward. They are looking for strong experience of working within Microservices architectures who has used different tools within that sort of environment. Someone who can take responsibility for the full development life cycle through specification, development, testing and delivery. To be successful in this .NET Developer role, you will need a strong appreciation for a Full-stack development tech environment but will have a very strong mixture of the following skills and experience: In-depth knowledge of C# and .NET Core. Knowledge of web development using ASP.NET Core, RESTful services, Web API, multiple Microservices and SOAP web services. Experience working in a best practices environment (Agile, TDD, BDD, SOLID, Dependency Injection, CI/CD, DevOps etc). Experience working with Azure is a big plus. A very strong SQL Server developer with a detailed understanding of stored procedures, table design, and overall SQL Server architecture and workings. Experience in writing automated tests (Unit, Integration, API, Functional etc) using xUnit or similar. Any knowledge of Azure Analytics, Integration, AI, IoT, Blockchain, JIRA, Confluence, TeamCity, Azure Pipelines, Azure DevOps and Octopus would be hugely beneficial.
