Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join our London-based Product team, building solutions that will be used by our global client base. This is an opportunity to innovate in a highly complex space and will suit someone with a passion for collaboration, problem-solving, and building great user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• You'll be part of an autonomous team with full responsibility for your own area including:

• Hands-on development of our flagship products

• Delivering highly scalable and flexible applications

• Creating fast and user-friendly experiences

• Performing code reviews

• Collaborating with UX, technical, and business team members to understand requirements and develop solutions using an Agile development process.

• Keeping your code clean, your tests complete and functional, and your releases daily

• Following best practices and encouraging other team members to use and adopt them.

Experience

• At least 3 years working as part of a development team and with the following technologies:

• Java-based, microservice driven applications using Spring boot or similar framework.

• MongoDB or any other NoSQL DB

• Message queues e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.

• JavaScript and design patterns, CSS (SCSS) and HTML

• Some experience of Modern MV*(MVC, MVVM, etc..) frameworks e.g., Angular, React, Vue, etc.

• Modern CSS libraries or view libraries e.g., Bootstrap, Angular Material, etc. RxJS, Typescript, JS ES6

• Unit and UI testing using third-party tools e.g. Jest, Cucumber, Groovy & Spock, etc.

Nice to Have

• Good understanding of the full web stack (e.g., HTTP, headers, caching, etc.)

• Familiar with RESTful API design/microservice architectures

• Familiar with Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD), Blue/Green deploys, and associated tools e.g., App Center, CloudBees, Jenkins, etc.

• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
