Role Responsibility

You will be part of a team embedded in a much larger media organisation. We are organised around small and nimble product teams that have close contact with both the editorial and commercial sides.

We strongly believe in team ownership and self-direction, and we strive to provide an environment where the teams can perform at their best. Each team owns its own agile process and modifies its practices to better fit its needs.

You will work within a development team & wider test community to help us to implement, test & deploy new exciting news products that are used by millions of people.

  • A persistent and committed attitude to ship great products, testing features effectively, communicating, listening and iterating from there

Things we like to see in people are:

  • Understand the basic Software development lifecycle
  • Understand the need for manual testing
  • Understand where & when automation testing fits into a SDLC
  • Have hands-on programming/scripting experience

  • JavaScript/Node.Js experience
  • Revision Control, GIT
  • Cloud Technologies
  • Test Management Tools
  • API Testing with various tools, scripting API tests
  • Knowledge of Web technologies

Interview Process

TWO stages:

  • 1st stage 30m video call over Google Hangout with hiring manager
  • 2nd stage 60m video call over Google Hangout with hiring manager and three others - either a two Snr QA's OR one Snr QA and one Mid QA
