User Experience Manager at Dynamic Planner

Job Description:

Role Purpose:

To provide centralized support to the product and implementation teams at Dynamic Planner to ensure the products and services we develop delight and engage our users. Act as a central authority on the user experience of our product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support ongoing projects and initiatives to deliver enhancements and updates in Dynamic Planner
  • Engage in and support customer research to validate designs and feature requests
  • Build and maintain centralised resources to ensure consistency and excellency (components, design system, documentation)
  • Support and mentor the Product Owners to achieve and maintain our high-quality outputs
  • Line management responsibility for the Customer Insight Analyst function at Dynamic Planner, and potential for extension for small UX team
  • Work with the Business Intelligence Analyst to validate and measure the success of features in Dynamic Planner

Key Deliverables:

  • Oversight of the UX of product deliverables at Dynamic Planner
  • Curatorship of the Dynamic Planner design system
  • Deliver mockups / prototypes to support product projects

Key Stakeholders:

  • Product Team
  • Implementation Team

Competencies (knowledge/skills/experience):

  • Strong visual UX and design skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively on an existing product
  • Experience in documenting and evolving design systems for existing products
  • Experience with a mix of B2B and B2B2C services
  • User and consumer testing to validate ideas
  • Project management, ability to manage own time – inquisitive self starter
  • Strong data visualization skills
  • Facilitation and collaboration
  • Understanding of key web technologies
  • Desirable – experience of working on an internationalized product

Education & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years UX experience, ideally in a product / SaaS company
  • Line management experience, or desire to do so
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Studies, or related field
