Job Description:

About the role:

You'll help define the future of Blueheart, and the future of digital therapy. You'll take ownership of our production app. Within a cross-functional team you'll represent engineering, and work with other disciplines such as design, product, data science, content, and QA.

Responsibilities:

  • Building the Blueheart app and supporting back end
  • Supporting, mentoring and unblocking your peers and colleagues
  • Scoping and defining technical initiatives, and proactively resolving ambiguity
  • Setting the technical direction of Blueheart
  • Working with the CTO and CEO to inform the strategic direction

Requirements:

  • TypeScript
  • React Native
  • Excellent communication skills in English

(Optional) Full Stack:

  • Although it's not required, most of us work full stack, and would build a feature end-to-end. In that case, you would also need some knowhow with:
  • Node
  • Postgres
  • Redis
  • Docker
  • Aws (mostly ECS/Fargate)

Interview Process

  • Intro call CTO to check basic compatibility, check deal breakers on either side, answer any questions you might have
  • Technical interview - 90 mins - 60 mins where we pair on solving a realistic problem over screen share, 30 mins of talking about technical topics
  • Company fit interview - 30 mins
