Job Description:

We are proud of the relationships we have built with clients including many household names such United Nations, Harper Collins, TUC, Cambridge University, The Environment Agency. As well as developing hundreds of products for clients we also manage our own cloud based elearning authoring tools and management systems which are developing a growing user-base worldwide.

About the role:

Using modern tools and techniques all staff are involved in our agile development process. We encourage the team to communicate through daily stand ups and everyone's opinion matters from specification to delivery.

Across our portfolio we predominantly use popular frameworks for MySQL and PHP at the backend, with a few projects based on Node.js. You will be involved from concept to completion, and should consider deployment, scalability and security at all times and try to help the team implement best practice on a daily basis.

The ideal candidate will have sufficient skills to get stuck into projects from day one, and a desire to learn and get involved in new innovations as part of their career development. You will be capable of designing a large scale web application from the ground up. You will be building rich application interfaces in HTML, JavaScript and CSS from design documents provided by our creative staff or clients.

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with the following key skills:

  • Laravel: 3 years
  • LAMP based stack
  • Solid understanding of OOP
  • JS
  • SQL
  • CSS and modern design principles (including mobile) Nice to have
