About Role - Remote Senior Full Stack Developer(Laravel & Vue.js)

A UK based Start-up is building an innovative and disruptive leave tracking system to ease the work for HR & Admins. You will be reporting directly to the CTO based in the UK and will be working very closely with the team based in Sri Lanka.

As Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll participate in all development aspects of the solution. Your mission will be to drive the progress of the application and the team while providing the best user experience imaginable.

This is a full-time permanent role for a true self-starter, someone who wants to build something from the beginning.

As our Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll be responsible for

• Developing & maintaining the full stack of the project(Laravel & Vue.js)
• Working with customers, to achieve desired new features and bug fixes
• Use third-party APIs and web scraping tools to source data at scale.
• Shine with engineering excellence by developing test infrastructures, writing documentation, ensuring high performance, and following an agile development methodology
• Write entirely new code and maintain and update existing code
• Research on new frameworks for improving the architecture
• Ensure development best practices are followed (Clean Code, Clean Architecture, code reviews)
• Actively communicate with the stakeholders, team members, and clients

• Expert with Laravel and Vue.js
• Knowledge & experience in TDD
• An eye for detail and a commitment to quality work
• Knowledge of DDD & Event Sourcing concepts is an added advantage.
• Hands-on Experience in working with MySQL
• API development & integration of third party APIs
• A results-focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a diverse, multicultural, remote-team environment.
• Great English communication skills as well as collaboration skills and strong teamwork. mentality. - You must be fluent in English.
