Job Description:

The payments platform allows our players to deposit and withdraw funds into their gaming wallet in a fast, seamless, and compliant manner. Platform scalability that supports quick expansion into new regulated territories, as well as adherence to jurisdictional payment and gambling regulations and supporting our operational teams to effectively administrate payment functions, are our paramount importance in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify our customer needs and define business requirements to deliver product propositions that improve payment acceptance and the overall platform and customer experience
  • Develop payment features and processes to maximise customer experience whilst maintaining regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Lead the collection, definition and prioritisation of features and accurately document and articulate these
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including architects, technology, marketing, data, legal, compliance, CS and GF operational teams to define/prioritise features and requirements then translate them into user stories in collaboration with development teams
  • Own and manage the customer and business value of the backlog, planning and review processes including:
  • Deliver against business goals and objectives
  • Prioritise and order the backlog to deliver the roadmap
  • Establish product lifecycle processes for new/ phased requirements and releases
  • Define, develop evaluate and measure KPIs, ensuring all decisions are based on data and insight
  • Work with agile development teams on refinement, estimation and planning

The Person

You will be knowledgeable and have a deep understanding of payment or digital, ecommerce platforms. You will also have a good commercial understanding, with the ability to collaborate and communicate well ensuring our technical strategy is executed and aligned with the wider commercial goals.

The nature of the role means it is fast moving, ever evolving, from supporting a live issue to taking a complex product solution from concept through to market release, so pragmatism, influence and adaptability as well as innovation are essential.

Skills and Attributes

  • Be passionate and the champion of your product and have a strong desire to improve customer experiences
  • Experience of product ownership and domain knowledge
  • Able to assess the market, industry trends, marketing insights, business, and contractual requirements
  • Data driven, creative and analytical decision making skills
  • Commercial acumen - able to assess and estimate user and business value
  • Adaptable, comfortable being hands-on in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks, resolving complex problems, prioritise and implement plans to meet objectives

Desirable Attributes

  • Experience with online payment or ecommerce platforms
  • Experience within the online gaming or gambling industry or in a highly regulated financial industry
  • Interest in new technologies and the product development process
