Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

Job Description:

We’re building software that allows businesses in developing countries like Pakistan to be able to come online easily and affordably; with our all-in-one app that includes a localised DIY website builder, CRM, social media tool, ads manager, and omni-channel inbox. We've raised VC funding from Silicon Valley based investors, and as we’re building our team, we need a Senior Mobile Engineer to develop our mobile app using React Native. We're looking for an experienced candidate that can takes designs to production level engineering independently. You’ll be joining our Islamabad/Rawalpindi based team for a full-time in-house position.

Our ideal candidate is independently driven and has a knack for getting things done. We’ll be working from 10:00 AM PST to 6:00 PM PST -- open to flexible arrangements depending on the candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, develop, and assist in the development leveraging Node, Typescript and AWS.
• Collaborate with a team of developers to design end-to-end, industry-leading systems and solutions.
• Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
• Rapidly prototype new ideas, concepts, and designs.
• Generate and execute unit tests and test automation.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of development experience building mobile apps in react native for iOS and Android.
• Strong experience with React Native with Typescript.
• Experience consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs on the mobile.
• Unit/integration testing experience.
• Excellent development skills in React Native/Javascript/Typescript.
• A good understanding of modern DevOps technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Deployed customer-facing software into a product environment.
• Solid experience working in an agile development environment.
• Passion for clean and appropriately tested code.
