Job Title Full Stack Engineer

Corporate Title: Vice President
You will be joining the Corporate Finance Origination and Advisory Technology team as a full stack software engineer. You will be instrumental in replacing a legacy technology platform that enables business stakeholders and senior management to identify and manage client performance and profitability. You will apply agile best practices to deliver high quality, well tested code to the business in frequent releases and be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities
Design and develop application functionality using Kotlin and modern open-source frameworks (Spring Boot) and components to meet the requirements of business stakeholders
Have frequent conversations with users to understand their requirements and bring them along on the strategic transformation
Help define and model business user stories, acceptance tests, software design, data modelling, data flow and user interface designs
Ongoing improvements to Continuous Integration and automated deployment pipeline
Support user acceptance testing, release planning and co-ordination, user training and assist L1/L2 support in root cause analysis
Your skills and experience
Agile development practices with strong focus on quality through automated testing
Full-stack developer, from HTML web user interfaces (Angular 10) through to RESTful server side components
Experience with Java and familiar with functional programming paradigm
Relational database data modelling and querying of large data sets (preferably Oracle)
Containerised cloud deployment concepts beneficial e.g. Docker, Kubernetes
