Job Description

We are looking for full stack ASP.NET Web Developer to join us and assist in the development of new and existing in-house and public facing web applications.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience with the ASP.NET Framework, working with C#, MVC, T-SQL, and JavaScript.

Reporting to the Senior Web Developer, and working in a small team of full-stack developers, the successful candidate will be working on a mixture of exciting greenfield projects, as well as maintaining and improving our existing software offerings, taking ownership of projects and leading them from concept all the way through to delivery, whilst supporting staff with any issues.

Candidate Specification

The ideal candidate will have experience with C#/VB.net, ASP.NET, MVC, T-SQL, Entity Framework, JavaScript and jQuery, and have a working understanding of ReactJS or similar front end frameworks.

Key skills:

  • Excellent ASP.NET experience in both .NET Framework and .NET Core.
  • T-SQL and Entity Framework 6.
  • Proficient with JavaScript and HTML/CSS.
  • Git source control.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Verifying, evaluating and delivering user requirements and specifications.
  • Keen to learn and develop.
  • Experience with unit testing.
  • Some understanding of SOLID principals and engineering best practices.

Desirable skills:

  • Understanding of browser compliance and accessibility standards.
  • Working knowledge of Agile Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience with ReactJS or similar frontend JavaScript frameworks a bonus, though not required.
