• Take part in building out the Flow & Light Exotics platform for Equity Derivatives using React/Angular & Kotlin/Scala.
• Actively contribute to all-round day to day development of the London-based team, participating in all facets of design, development, and planning
• Use yours skills & experience to help continually evolve the platform design and architecture, with a strong focus on code quality & clarity as well as robustness &scalability for performance
• Pair program effectively with different members locally and globally on work items
• Advocate & help adopt newer technologies & practices that can boost quality of engineering & productivity
• You can manage a development team and lead the delivery of new products for the Derivatives business

Your skills and experience
You are a software developer with strong software development experience as a full stack developer with solid recent experience in required technologies mentioned below.
Required Skills
• Back-end service development using one of Kotlin, Scala or Java • Front end web development preferably using React, Angular • Familiarity with C# • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills • Test-first coding experience with TDD/BDD frameworks
Desirable Skills
• Functional programming experience • CI/CD experience. Micro services development for the cloud (Pipelines, CaaS etc.) • Experience with SQL/NoSQL Dbs • Messaging middleware (Active MQ, Kafka) • UX design experience • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
