Job Description:

Main missions:

Thanks to your seniority, within the Aircraft Flight controls & monitoring team, you will be in charge of autonomously leading the following activities, on several flight control computers for all Airbus programs:

  • Ensure technical interface between major customers (aircraft system, product design, tests center, support...) and various competence centers (hardware, software, methods & quality) to design a certifiable software product, compliant with the required needs and the airworthiness rules.
  • Ensure software development following the V cycle: from specifications to integration/validation of the product
  • Ensure in-service support to our internal and external customers : technical investigations on real Flight Control products, improvements/software optimization...
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the Department performance

You will also participate in some software Chamber of reference activities, such as assessments of Airbus equipment suppliers.

You will report to a manager accountable for a set of avionics software products inside an agile organization with dynamic role assignments.

Required skills:

You will have 5 to 10 years of experience in the following:

  • Educated to an engineering or PhD degree (or equivalent) in IT/Software discipline
  • Prior experience in embedded critical real-time software development and certification (DO178 level A)
  • Prior experience in low layers software and hardware : use of analogic/numeric tests tools, real time analyzers, software technologies as LINUX, real time, C...
  • Expertise in Software Enigneering and software standards
  • Experience of subcontracting management
  • Project management bases
  • Advanced-level of english and french
