Job Description:

Purpose of the role

​ We operate our own private cloud infrastructure, which is distributed across multiple data centers. This infrastructure, built primarily on open source technology, is doubling every year and requires 24/7 operation. You will operate our infrastructure and contribute to its development, security, and reliability. Using the Infrastructure as Code principles, you will participate in our infrastructure automation project to manage our constantly growing fleet of machines and services.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to Linux systems and manage their lifecycle
  • Automate the infrastructure management (IaC)
  • Maintain, scale, and optimize infrastructure services
  • Perform analysis for troubleshooting and incident response
  • Support infrastructure teams and company projects
  • Keep our infrastructure aligned with the highest security standards
  • Contribute to the on-call rotation ​ Job Requirements:
  • 5+ years of administering Linux systems in a medium/large scale and highly-available infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of virtualization (VM and containers) concepts
  • Experience with at least one configuration management and automation tools (Puppet / Ansible / Terraform)
  • Scripting experience in Python and/or Bash
  • Ability to keep up in an extremely fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills in a multicultural environment
  • Experience with Kubernetes and at least one of the runtime orchestration (Docker / podman / crio / Kata) ​ Bonus points for:
  • Server hardware architecture knowledge
  • On-premise cloud solutions experience
  • Contribution to open-source projects ​
