Senior Unity Gameplay Developer at Legendary Play

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Unity Developer to help us build a new play&earn blockchain core game with our team based in Berlin. Serving as a key role for our development team, your decisions will matter from day one and pave the way for our next great game.

Flexibility, a love for fast-paced environments, knowledge of lean principles are definite pluses as well as a strong background in the mobile games industry and a passion for Esports.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You take part in all aspects of a feature, from the initial planning and construction of screens and animations in Unity, to designing api calls and data structures and implementing gameplay algorithms.
• You work closely with the backend engineers to integrate the gameplay logic into the C# game server.
• You help us design, shape, build and maintain the client architecture and gameplay logic for our new multiplayer mobile game.
• You provide the team with expert knowledge of software architecture, performance optimization and Unity best practices.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Expert knowledge of Unity and C#, software architecture, performance optimization and best practices
• Experience planning and implementing UI heavy Unity mobile applications
• You are a strong team player who excels when working closely with others, both receiving and providing help
• You communicate clearly and directly about complex technical topics, both inside and outside the tech team
• You are proactive, self-directed and organized

BONUS POINTS

• You have worked on a multiplayer mobile game before and have at least one title released in the App Store or Google Play Store
• You have experience with test-driven development and dependency injection
• You understand the Esports world and watch or play regularly
• You are interested in Blockchain technology
• Knowledge of SCRUM and agile product development methods
