Job Description:

Role

As a Unity Developer at Supersolid you will update and maintain our catalogue of games to a high standard of stability and performance across multiple mobile platforms You will work as part of a highly skilled team to keep games running smoothly by updating Unity, code and plugins, as well as fixing bugs and integrating new content

Responsibilities

• Write clean and maintainable code for cross-platform mobile games in C# using the

• Unity engine

• Update Unity, plugins and fix bugs without impacting game stability

• Update features where required while maintaining code quality and consistency

• Work with artists and the product team to prepare releases for QA

• Work with QA to get builds through to the release stage

• Monitor and resolve any live issues

• Maintain, streamline and optimise existing processes, actively driving these forward

• Be part of an expert engineering team with a coherent development approach and high

• level of technical quality

Key Skills

• Passion for proactively maintaining stability of live games with many players

• Software craftsperson with a diligent programming mentality and zero tolerance for bugs

• Excellent understanding of programming best practices and data-driven design

• Self-driven and excel at completing tasks in a minimally supervised environment

• Able to communicate with non-technical team members to resolve technical issues

• Comfortable working in a small team on high impact deliveries

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or a related subject

• 2+ years commercial experience in Unity programming

Superpowers

• Keen follower of all things Unity related

• Interest in build automation and streamlining development processes

• Experience integrating 3rd party SDKs or even writing your own

• Unity Editor tools developer

• Native programming experience for Android or iOS

• Reached Sapphire league with a Home Street neighbourhood
