Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Developing various infrastructure solutions including Public Cloud - AWS as well as datacentre / private cloud to deliver high availability, rapidly developed, fully automated solutions using Terraform
  • Contribute to project documentation and diagrams, including quality assurance (QA) and Jira
  • Ensuring software standards are maintained
  • Understanding security policies and implementing solutions that satisfy the security requirements.
  • Designing and implementing solutions which have high availability and are scalable

Qualifications:

  • Experience with build and provisioning tools, eg. Jenkins, Terraform
  • Programming languages and/or scripting languages
  • Automation and CI/CD pipelines
  • Basic Understand container orchestration
  • Have developed and operated large-scale infrastructure services
  • Have automated infrastructure in public clouds
  • Are self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem-solving
  • Can debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues reported Know Linux or other Unix-like operating systems

The following is a plus:

  • Apply agile development principles in short work iterations
  • Implement Continuous Deployment practices in your work
  • Have developed loosely coupled distributed systems
  • Actively participate in the Kubernetes community, and/or contribute to the Kubernetes ecosystem
  • Experience of Test Driven or Behaviour Driven development, and being able to implement automated test solutions
  • The ability to integrate various products using APIs enabling a joined up automated approach
  • Experience with monitoring systems e.g. ELK, Nagios, New Relic, DataDog, Splunk etc.
  • Experience of modern programming languages, understanding at least one of: Bash script, Python
