Senior Cyber Security Governance Analyst at Sky

Job Description:

The role provides a chance to create a real difference in the protection of our customers and business by driving the right security practices across the business through the governance of our cyber policies and standards and the delivery of operational cyber governance across the cyber security GRC function.

What you'll do:

• Develop and maintain cyber policies and standards aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST
• Maintain the cyber security GRC framework and Design, communicate and embed processes and cyber governance
• Develop and maintain Cyber GRC operational governance
• Build and promote ideas for improvements within the cyber governance
• Lead initiatives in strengthening cyber governance including policies and reporting within the Cyber security domain
• Prepare governance meetings in accordance with cyber governance framework
• Drive awareness of the cyber policies and standards across the Sky Group
• GRC KPI reporting, including delivery of consolidated GRC metrics and management reporting
• Data analysis of key GRC risk information, including the cyber risk register, policy exceptions, audit findings and data security reviews and the preparation of reporting as necessary to satisfy Sky’s cyber reporting requirements at both a management and Executive level
• Liaise across the broader Cyber and Technology teams to ensure key risks information is clearly and consistently communicated and reported

What you'll bring:

• A strong understanding of key industry frameworks (such as NIST, ISO and CIS)
• A strong critical thinker with a data analytical mind to assess and manipulate large datasets to deliver the relevant insights
• Outstanding written and verbal presentational skills coupled with high demonstrable proficiency in presenting risk information
• A process-driven perspective, self-motivated, and well organised with initiative and comfortable with continuous improvement working to agreed objectives, targets and timescales
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with teams across the organisation
• Clear business acumen, perseverance, pragmatism, strong judgmental and problem-solving skills to solve problems and make recommendations
