Backend Web Developer (PHP Laravel JavaScript REST API) Remote Interview WfH. Are you a skilled Backend Web Developer seeking a role where you can progress your career and make an impact?
You could be joining an award winning technology led start-up in the property market space that is enjoying great success.
As a Backend Web Developer you will develop scalable backend web and mobile applications that are built on PHP and Laravel with RESTful APIs and MySQL / NoSQL data sources. You'll be working on complex applications ensuring they are scalable and highly available, collaboratively problem solving and inputting to best practice as part of a small, talented team and will have the opportunity to shape your role and progress your career in line with company growth.
There's currently a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work from home; in time you'll join colleagues in the Guildford office for part of the week (close to the station).
Requirements:
*You have strong backend web development experience using PHP and Laravel or Symfony *You have an "engineering mindset" with experience of building scalable web applications *You have a good knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON *You're an advocate of best practice and Test Driven Development *You're collaborative with great communication skills
