QA Mobile Engineer - Liverpool - £35,000 - £40,000
About the role
Are you an outside the box thinking experienced Mobile QA Engineer?
It is time for you to make that step and join a leading cloud software vendor where hundreds of thousands of users each year will see and use your work to support their workplace activities.
Working with the Mobile Engineering team, you will be responsible for testing our Android and iOS Apps.
Requirements
• Strong testing background with a full understanding of the testing lifecycle & methodologies
• Experience using automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium with Java or C#)
• Experience testing Android and iOS apps
• Experience of interfacing with REST API's, conducting API tests and querying databases using SQL
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of Kanban / Agile working practices
• Experience of Continuous Integration Technologies (Octopus, TeamCity, Jenkins)
Your responsibilities
• Create and design resilient test plans, write and maintain both manual and automated tests
• Responsible for the day-to-day testing of mobile projects and adhoc issues, ensuring a high quality prior to any release
• Monitor test progress and address automated test failures
• Manage the deployment of the application to test environments to conduct functional, system and regression testing using emulators and real mobile devices
• Contribute towards the evolving design & development of the mobile test strategy
• Collaborate with the mobile engineering team on the estimation, test planning, test execution and reporting of new features and bug fixes for mobile app releases
