The Opportunity

As a Full Time Intermediate Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to develop, enhance, and maintain our client and administration web applications. You will be collaborating on projects, creating solutions relating to architecture, implementation, testing, and maintenance. You will be in build mode and get to take ownership of projects, think through architecture, and create with the Engineering team to improve our business automation and streamline our client journey.

About The Role

Full-stack, you are comfortable with front-end and back-end, but have a passion for back-end. You will be in build mode and get to create and design web applications with our Senior Team.
• You will get the opportunity to build things such as event-driven, distributed microservices which manage the lifecycle of different Ledn products such as a cryptocurrency backed loans, supporting technologies and tools for the Ledn team and

• You will see your projects in production in no time and see first hand the impact of what you do.

• You will have a low ego.

What You Bring to Ledn

• 3 years of practical software engineering experience.

• Strong experience with AWS ( Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, AppSync, CloudWatch and CloudTrail, SQS, SNS).

• Practical experience with Node.js required.

• Javascript & Typescript practical experience.

• Demonstrated experience with React.

Nice To Have

• Experience with React Native.

• Experience with MongoDB or NOSQL is a strong asset.

• Understanding of blockchain technology or a passion for this space.

• Microservice architecture experience

• GraphQL would be a great asset.

It's COVID, where are you working? We're all working remote until Dec 2021. After that, if and when it's safe to do so, we will be offering flexible working environments of remote and in-office, which is located downtown Toronto and Montreal. We've learned a lot working remotely and are pretty good at it, but also miss connecting and collaborating with our team!
