💻 What will you be doing?

You’ll be working hand-in-hand with our passionate engineering and solutions teams, understanding customer requirements and delivering smart solutions that solve their business pain points. In this position, about 20% of your time will be working with our customers to understand their requirements and 80% focused on customer-led development and integrations.

Responsibilities include:

• Joining as a key member in our Solutions Engineering team, working closely with the - Solutions Consulting, Customer Success and Implementation teams to scope and deliver technical solutions for our customers
• Implement, maintain, and support custom integrations and web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js, MySQL and related technologies
• Develop public-facing API endpoints, SDKs, documentation, examples, and tutorials to help our clients deliver their own solutions
• Build self-service experiences for integration setup & configuration
• Act as the primary point of contact for key customer development teams and partners
• Drive and review software architectural design within the Solutions Engineering team
• Be an active participant in the Web (JavaScript) Engineering Chapter
• Focus on delivery while helping to improve our internal processes, practices, and tools

The successful candidate will be resourceful, inquisitive, a fast learner, with an ability to easily connect with a customer. You’ll be able to pick up new concepts quickly and empathise with customer pain points. We’re also looking for:

• Knowledge of JavaScript, Next.js, React, Git and database technologies
• Experience creating well structured, tested and enterprise-grade applications
• Experience evaluating trade-offs in delivering solutions between user experience, time, and complexity
• Proven ability to design, implement and document flexible and stable APIs
• Have a strong ability to communicate both internally and to customers, breaking down complex concepts in an easy to understand way
• Solution-focused, looking to help people and customers in finding solutions to their problems
• Keen to mentor other developers, helping them develop their technical skills and abilities

• 2nd - Head of Engineering (60 mins)
• 3rd - CEO (30 mins)
