This role will give you the flexibility to work from home but also to have access to our office in Farringdon.

Your mission:

We're looking for a passionate individual to support our ambitious growth target by ensuring the company is leveraging its software and infrastructure to gain a competitive advantage in a sector ripe for disruption.

This role includes:

  • Helping the wider teams with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code
  • Managing our cloud infrastructure
  • Suggesting continual improvements to the DevOps environment
  • Fostering the “You build it – you run it” mantra
  • Both software and infrastructure development You will play a part in contributing to the roadmap and suggesting new tools and solutions using the most up to date techniques and practices.

Tech Stack:

  • Cloud environment – AWS, Azure, GCP
  • IaaC – Terraform, CDKTF, Ansible
  • Containerization – Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS
  • CI Tools – Jenkins, Github Actions
  • Monitoring Tools – DataDog, Cloudwatch
  • Programming Languages – Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, BASH
  • Architecture – Serverless, Microservices, Event-driven

You’ll be (but not limited to):

  • Implementing and coaching the teams with automation for the end-to-end deployment process Using Cloud technologies to improve our system's maintainability, availability, and resilience
  • Developing our micro & serverless-based services
  • Discovering and trialling new tools to introduce to the company to grow the Agile development environment
  • Using leading edge monitoring tools to identify system improvements and cyber security risks and comping up with plans to improve system reliability
  • Contributing to the design discussions
  • Writing automated tests to ensure product quality

Candidate Description:

We will help you grow the skills you need for this role, but we expect candidates to apply to have:

  • Some experience of leveraging containerization tools to deploy products
  • Good scripting skills and the ability to use these to improve processes
  • Pragmatic programming skills, writing clean and testable code
  • 2-3 years of experience in a DevOps or Software Development role, working in a CI/CD agile environment
