As a Senior Developer, Web, you will be responsible for building the best digital meal solutions experience globally.
Your mandate will be to ship products, features and experiences that offer millions of Canadians a delightfully simple, personalized web experience. You will use data every single day to uncover meaningful insights that inform your experimentation strategy and ultimately, your product roadmap.
What You'll Do
• Collaborate with your teams and business partners to find the best solutions available, and if they don’t exist, design and build them
• Balance code quality with business requirements and customer needs
• Deliver cutting edge software that enhances our customer experience
• Keep things running smoothly by working with your Product Manager and Technical Product manager to help remove barriers and toil from your development team
• Mentor team members, and learn from your team as well!
Does this sound like you?
• A deep understanding of web software development with proven experience in JavaScript (ES 2018/2019), React, Redux
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A track record of successfully mentoring and growing other software engineers in your previous roles or through other avenues
• An awareness and understanding of performance, accessibility, and other software engineering best practices
• experience working in an Agile software development processes
• You enjoy taking ownership of your work in an environment where leadership is a shared responsibility
• Experience with Gitflow workflow, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud native platforms (GCP, AWS, etc.)
• Previous experience integrating with content management solutions, specifically Contenful, is a plus
