Join the team building NAB’s cloud native Data Lake Technical role with focus on cloud infrastructure setup and automation
We’re changing at NAB. Our goal is to build a world class information management and engineering culture to enable us to deliver an unprecedented pace of change and a customer experience second to none. We are looking for a DevOps engineer to build automation into Big Data delivery and promote DevOps practices.
What you will do:
• Building automated provisioning that can setup secure cloud environments
• Evolving, uplifting and maintaining delivery tooling (e.g. Jenkins and Jenkins pipelines)
• Supporting the infrastructure and application layer, both in production and test environments
• Supporting the build team (Dev and Test) to be self-sustained through training and troubleshooting
• Harnessing engineering knowledge from all platform teams, converting that into standards and best practices, thus continually uplifting platform quality
• Ensuring that the platform is compliant with regulatory and security requirements
• Continually learning and researching best practices and tooling for Big Data delivery.
Your skills and technologies you should know:
• AWS experience is a must. Expert knowledge in core AWS services.
• Infrastructure provisioning automation with Terraform and Terraform modules.
• Jenkins experience. Job DSL.
• Designed and implemented CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to implement process and engineering standards changes
• Source code management and branching solution (Git).
• Interest in infrastructure security and penetration testing is desirable.
