Description

Neo4j is expanding its Cloud Sales team and this role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cloud and SaaS Sales Specialist to join our small and high performing team. The Senior Cloud Sales Specialist is an overlay sales role and will–together with Account Executives, Pre-Sales Engineers, and other stakeholders, identify opportunities, close business, and maintain relationships within customer accounts across EMEA. You will be a subject matter expert on our database-as-a-service (DBaaS) and data-science-as-a-service (DSaaS) product offerings and will be directly responsible for sales of these products across the EMEA market.

This position requires a strong team player as you will be interacting with stakeholders across Neo4j (e.g. Sales Engineering, Sales Operations, Customer Success, Product, etc.) to ensure the growth and success of our Enterprise DBaaS/DSaaS offering.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed quarterly sales goals by closing net new business across EMEA for Neo4j’s Aura Enterprise DBaaS/DSaaS offering in partnership with Neo4j’s direct and indirect Sales teams • Identify and properly qualify AuraDB Enterprise DBaaS/DSaaS opportunities • Lead negotiations and overcome objections for deal closure • Manage complex sales cycles and multiple engagements simultaneously • Become a trusted advisor to both the Neo4j EMEA field team as well as Neo4j Aura Enterprise customers and prospects. • Drive incremental consumption and retention within existing accounts by identifying new use cases and enabling feature adoption. • Work with Marketing to conduct seminars, assist with trade shows, and other marketing related events as they pertain to the DBaaS/DSaaS offerings

Requirements

• Experience with database, SaaS, and open source technology • 5+ years of experience in enterprise software/database sales • Sales experience with HyperScalers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud). • Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment • Energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, tenacious team player • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience working within a quota and commission structure • College degree or equivalent work experience • Experience modeling cloud consumption deals, and database-as-a-service sales experience is beneficial but not required.
