**About the Role **

  • The Senior Cloud Software Engineer is role responsible for building globally distributed, fault tolerant and highly scalable cloud ecosystems.

You will

  • Lead the engineering efforts and architectural desing of an application meant to scale to billions of processed data points

  • Work with and mentor a team of highly skilled and dedicated engineers

  • Work collaboratively with members across multiple teams in order to define cross-functional technical features

  • Drive the design and implementation of the main business data flows

What You Need:

  • At least 5 years of production-level experience in building, delivering and maintaining systems at scale (millions of data points)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or commensurate experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems)

  • Ability to design scalable and resilient microservice based architectures, including clean REST APIs and streaming communication channels

  • Strong programming skills – Python / Java / Scala or Golang

  • Deep understand multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing technologies

  • A thorough understanding of engineering best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architecture

  • Team player skills – we embrace collaborating as a team as much as possible

Knowledge in the following is a nice to have:

  • Knowledge in graph databases and graph data structures

  • Experience in defining ontologies and collaborating with multiple teams while doing so

  • Golang, Cassandra, Kafka, Elasticsearch, SQL, Redis

  • AWS Cloud
